Since no one knows exactly what causes breast cancer, there are no sure ways to prevent it. Research remains critical not only for treatment but for prevention as well. Your donations are a vital part of our fundraising efforts to fulfill the Komen promise to save lives and end breast cancer forever by empowering people, ensuring quality of care for all and energizing science to find the cures. Making a donation is also a very personal way for individuals and organizations to join the fight against breast cancer by remembering or celebrating those they love that have been affected by the disease.
